What You Can Expect at FBC
When you come to one of our gatherings expect to be greeted and welcomed by our membership. We are a family oriented church, and on Sunday mornings we have a nursery that is provided for children under four years old. Children of any age are always welcomed into our worship services. You will find our times of worship to be serious, simple and joyful. Our focus is on Jesus Christ, and we give time to reading the Bible publicly, to prayer, to singing and to preaching.
You can expect to hear a sermon given by our pastors that are based on a passage from the Bible. Our goal is to understand what it says and apply what it means to our daily lives. We encourage you to come however you feel comfortable. If that is wearing jeans and a t-shirt then great, if that’s wearing a suit and tie then that is great too. Our goal is to remember that what matters is our hearts, that we cherish Christ and His gospel, and love the Lord with all that we are.
